Atypical but fabulous Sancerre: intense golden yellow; on the nose, yellow-fleshed and tropical fruit, candied orange, vanilla, mineral notes: sumptuous; in the mouth, perfect balance, despite the high alcoholic strength, but perfectly integrated. Fine and intense retro-nasal: great wine indeed.
Aged for 20 months in oak to bring an extra dimension.

Floral with citrus fruits and fresh herbs. Frivolous attack with prominent ripe acidity and an elegant crisp texture, long fruity-vegetal aftertaste. Delicious as an aperitif. Goes also well with raw seafood and fresh spring salads, pickled fish, marinated spring vegetables and fresh (goat) cheese. |
