The Seña winery is located in the heart of the Aconcagua valley, which enjoys a Mediterranean climate, having its highest point at 6956 metres. This explains the fruitiness and intense freshness of the wines.
It exhibits the qualities of a Bordeaux First Growth while retaining the typicity of Chilean wines. An impressive wine of purity and harmony!
Grown in the warm Andes foothills of the Colchagua valley, CA1 is a Carmenere of great character and power. This is a rich wine, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit. The round tannins, together with the lush concentration of the fruit on the palate reveals to us the best expression of Carmenere grown at the foot of the Andes Mountain.
This is a very unique Carmenere, it offers both refreshing elegance and character. The constant breezes of the pacific ocean cool the grapes, slowly maturing the intense aromas of dark fruit and spice. Together with the soft texture and intense flavours on the palate, this wine is a perfect expression of Carmenere from the coast of Chile.
This is a fantastic wine that punches far higher than its price. Brilliant bright blackcurrant and mint on the nose and a full-bodied dark fruit attack on the palate. Perfectly balanced with a delicious lingering finish. This has larger tannins than its vineyard selection little brother adding to ageing potential for 5-10 Years.
With floral, redcurrant, tart cherry, cranberry and spicy balsam notes wafting over sleek tannins and rock-fresh acidity, it's the sort of red that goes with a wide range of foods. I enjoyed it with vine-wrapped roast quail (the pan deglazed lightly with pomegranate molasses) and an array of variously herbed and spiced roast vegetables (courgettes, peppers, aubergines, tomatoes, onions, garlic), but there aren't many savoury dishes I wouldn't try it with. Joanna Simon Wine of the week July 2021

Crafted from carefully selected grapes from our El Algarrobo vineyard in the Las Dichas sector of the Casablanca Valley, one of the coldest areas of the Valley. It stands out for its intense golden-yellow colour and notes of pineapple, papaya, and citrus fruits, with some mineral touches. A creamy, refreshing, and fruity wine.
