Notable for its rich, summery character, the nose of "Les Lavières” is alive with notes of raspberry, strawberry and cassis. There is also an earthy, slightly masculine side to the wine as a whole, which is typical of this vineyard. The fruits were aged in oak for 11 months before bottling. On the palate, look for a medley of cherry, strawberry, blackberry and pomegranate. There are spice accents to be found, as well as a wonderful fresh acidity and hints of oakiness.
