| The grapes are grouped together with parcels in the Cote de Nuits villages, Pommard, Volnay, Beaune and Marsanney. The wine is aged for 15 months in 500 litre oak casks. The wine is lovely with vibrant notes of red cherry and raspberry, complemented by savoury, meaty notes from the time in bottle. Superbly fresh and elegant with impressive structure and subtle tannins. |

| | There is more whole bunch (70%) in the 2016 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru les Champonnets, the highest used by the domaine in this growing season. Now this has a very mineral-driven bouquet, terse and linear at first, though the fruit soon comes to the surface—blackberries, briary and a hint of cassis. This is very seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, well-judged acidity, weight and persistence. |

| | The Pillots sell half their crop in bulk to the big Burgundy négociants which enables them to retain just the best wines. Matured in one to six year old barrels this is a lovely example of Mercurey with delicious, red fruits and spice on the nose, carefully extracted tannins and a beguiling, fresh aftertaste. |

This 2017 Nuits-Saint-Georges comes from 2 hectares of vines in this famous Côte de Nuits appellation farmed organically and aged for 14 months in oak barrels, 40% new. Rich and robust with deep, dark and red fruit aromas, evolved spice and dry earthy notes leading onto a medium-bodied, silky smooth and structured palate. Fine tannins and a long, lingering finish round off this delicious, nicely mature red Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits.

The "En Chevret" parcel of vines is located below the main road, just under the "Caillerets" parcel at the border of the village of Meursault.
The Volnay 1er Cru "En Chevret" 2015 reveals an intense nose of red fruits, undergrowth and liquorice aromas. In the mouth it is round and elegant with mellow tannins.
